Event Types
Events are categorized by type with color coding:
Viewing Events
The events page shows:
- Upcoming Events - Events in the next 30 days
- Past Events - Historical event records
- All Events - Complete event list
Event Details
Each event displays:
- Event title
- Date and time
- Location (if specified)
- Description
- Event type indicator
Event Scope
Events can be:
- School-wide - Applies to all students and staff
- Faculty-specific - Only for your school/faculty
Calendar Integration
The calendar view helps you:
- See events at a glance
- Plan lessons around school events
- Track exam schedules
- Note holidays and breaks
Note: Only principals can create and edit school events. Teachers can view all events for their school.
Notifications
Stay informed about upcoming events:
- Dashboard shows events in the next 30 days
- Event count badge on the Events menu item
- Email notifications for important events (if enabled)
