Sending a Message
Step 1: Select Recipient
Choose a teacher from your school's teacher list.
Step 2: Compose Message
Type your message in the text area.
Step 3: Send
Click the Send button or press Enter.

Managing Messages
Mark as Read
Messages are automatically marked as read when you open the conversation.
Delete Messages
You can delete messages from your view:
- Hover over the message
- Click the delete icon
- Message is removed from your inbox
Unread Message Count
The sidebar shows a badge with your unread message count. This updates in real-time as you receive new messages.
Who Can You Message?
- Other teachers in your school/faculty
- Verified teachers only
Privacy: Messages are private between sender and recipient. Principals cannot view teacher-to-teacher messages.
Best Practices
- Keep messages professional
- Respond to messages promptly
- Use specific subject lines when starting new conversations
- For urgent matters, consider in-person communication
