  2. Fill in the exam details (Subject, Class, Term, etc.).
  3. Click "Create Exam".
  4. You will be redirected to the View Results page.
  5. The system automatically populates the grid with all students in the class.
  6. Enter scores directly into the grid.

Best For

Quick Create is ideal for:

  • Small classes
  • Entering scores as you mark papers
  • When you don't have a spreadsheet ready
  1. Click "Choose File" and select your CSV
  2. The system validates all entries automatically
  3. Review any warnings or errors displayed

Validation Checks

  • Missing Students - Warns if admission numbers aren't in the database
  • Class Mismatch - Alerts if student isn't in the selected class
  • Invalid Scores - Flags scores exceeding total marks
  • Duplicate Entries - Prevents duplicate student results

Step 4: Submit Results

After validation:

  1. Review the preview table showing all results

Common Issues

"Student not found"

The admission number doesn't exist in the database. Verify the student is registered and approved.

"Score exceeds total marks"

A student's score is higher than the total marks. Check your CSV for typos.

"Duplicate exam entry"

An exam with the same title, subject, term, and year already exists. Edit the existing exam instead.
